We
are not planning on expanding our Chinese Soft Shell Turtle collection
further than the single one we own. They are a beautiful aquatic
turtle species which requires a lot of space due to their size
of around 10 inches mixed with their incredible stamina and level
of activity. Not to mention that a single one eats us out of house
and home, I'd hate to imagine how much two of them would eat.

Not
a soft shell turtle, but currently the only fish we own. Below
is our only plecostomus who lives with the soft shell. The turtles
aquarium was difficult to keep up with in the cleaning stakes
due to a lot of algae build up from his food which made for a
perfect diet for a pleco. Also the plecos size (at the time of
purchase bigger than the soft shell, and at an adult age will
once again be bigger than the turtle) and docile disposition made
it a perfect choice for housing with the turtle. They have so
far lived in perfect harmony.
